Warm Room
The Salvation Army Community and Family Services

Warm Room will be open from November to March (call the office to get exact start up and ending dates) giving homeless people in the community a place to escape the frigid weather. The hours of operation will be 6 pm till 10 pm seven days a week. The Salvation Army will also provide essential services such as meals, clothing and personal hygiene items to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Information about other local services, resources and accommodations will be available to help break the cycle of homelessness.

Inn from the Cold… Provides hot liquid, clothing and blankets to homeless people during the winter months. .During the period from January 15 to the last Sunday in February, the co-op serves hot meals both in the church and by home delivery. This meal is designed to assist people who are adversely affected by weather. In from the Heat… available during the summer months as weather necessitates.

Home Visitors Program

The Home Visitor Program is designed to provide services to isolated persons with mental or physical disabilities.

    To be eligible, the client will be:
  • Not in receipt of home support services
  • In need of assistance with maintaining permanent housing
    Referral will be accepted from:
  • Service Agencies
  • Individuals/families requesting support

Community Partners for Success is a Non-Profit Co-Operative. We are also one of the Ontario Early Years Satellite Centres for the YMCA-OEYC Lead Agency in Coburg. We provide program for parents, caregivers and their children. A variety of children's programs are provided to help stimulate healthy growth and development. Parents and caregivers are also given the opportunity to participate in planned groups with experts in a variety of areas, health, development, coping strategies and nutrition just to name a few.
