Sleep Out So Others Can Sleep In 
 
The Canadian Mental Health Association Hastings and Prince Edward Branch is organizing a fundraising event to benefit “Our House and Our House Too,” a homelessness initiative that provides emergency and short-term accommodation to homeless/at risk of homelessness adults, youth and families and helps them take steps toward securing long-term, safe, affordable housing.  
 
Friday January 18, 2008 8pm – 7am 
Market Square Belleville 
Come prepared to sleep outside. Sleeping bags, cardboard, plastic and tarps are welcome.  
There will be a warming area at St. Thomas Anglican Church. 
 
Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 
 
Pledge forms are available to be picked up at the Canadian Mental Health Association Hastings and Prince Edward Branch 
199 Front Street, Suite 530  
(5th floor of Century Place) 
 
There will be an appearance by Mayor Neil Ellis 
DJ – Scott Lalonde from Rock 107 
Hot drinks and water will be available to purchase from Keep It Simple Coffee Truck 
 
Quest International (www.quest-int.org) will be hosting a separate event on the same night at St. Thomas Church. We will be sharing the evening, working together in the name of poverty to make the world a better place.
