Youthab helps individuals obtain and maintain the three essentials for quality of life: housing, good mental health and employment.
Under the Youthab umbrella of services are the Career Edge Employment Programs, the Community Mental Health Counseling Program and three very specific Housing Programs: the Transition Home Program, Cooperative Housing, and the Hastings Housing Resource Centre Program.
Today, through our various programs and a dedicated staff of over 50 professionals, we provide confidential, professional services to over 10,000 people per year in the 6 communities we service in the Greater Quinte area.

The Community Development Council of Quinte (CDCQ) strives to improve the quality of life of individuals and families in our communities. Through this work, we operated six self-help ford programs in communities throughout Hastings County which include: The Good Baby Box, The Good Food Box and Singles Box, The Good Back Pack, Community Gardens, Community Kitchens, and Food for Thought.
The CDCQ conducts social planning and community development within the context of social justice. Through this work, we partner with over 40 agencies who play a variety of roles to address community need and improve access to services. We are conveners and facilities who serve as a non-threatening meeting place for discussion and resolution to community issues. We are committed to strengthening partnerships and collaboration within our communities.
