Landlords - Why use HHRC?

  • Services are free for all landlords.

  • Units can be listed immediately - no wait for newspaper press times.

  • Since the HHRC lists units free of charge and has a steady supply of potential tenants, we have many landlords that deal exclusively with the HHRC.

  • Landlords that list with us may receive information about their rights, tenant's rights, discrimination, social services funding, and strategies to use when negotiating with tenants.

  • The HHRC office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. The online service is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Tenants are able to receive the service at their convenience.

  • Both Landlords and Tenants can:

    • Call and establish an appointment time
    • Receive the product over the telephone
    • Walk-in and be seen that day
    • Access the service from anywhere, 24 hours/day, via the Internet/WWW

  • Website listing means access to a wider population - More Canadians are using the Internet as a source of information - 49% according to the Canadian Housing Observer 2005.

  • You can use the Internet to change information about your ad quickly and at no cost to you.

  • We offer housing mediation services between Landlords and Tenants.

  • Re-activate your ad with a phone call or an e-mail message.
