Youth Hab

Youthab helps individuals obtain and maintain the three essentials for quality of life: housing, good mental health and employment.

Under the Youthab umbrella of services are the Career Edge Employment Programs, the Community Mental Health Counseling Program and three very specific Housing Programs: the Transition Home Program, Cooperative Housing, and the Hastings Housing Resource Centre Program.
Today, through our various programs and a dedicated staff of over 50 professionals, we provide confidential, professional services to over 10,000 people per year in the 6 communities we service in the Greater Quinte area.

Salvation Army


The Salvation Army Community and Family Services provides food, clothing, beds, other household items, Summer Camp, referrals to other agencies; Missing Persons Bureau/Fire Victim assistance.

For After-Hours Emergency Accommodations:

From 4:30 pm - 8:30 am weekdays, also weekends or Statutory Holidays, if you are homeless, call 613- 968-6834.

Lunches:

Are provided from 11:30 am to 1 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday on the second floor of the Community and Family Services Building.

The Warm Room:

Which runs from November till March (call the office to get exact start up and ending dates) provides hot meals, fellowship, movies and referrals for accommodations if homeless.
